EWP (Pure) tungsten electrodes are unalloyed and non - radioactive. They're great for less critical welding jobs, except for aluminum and magnesium. These electrodes have a lower current - carrying capacity compared to other tungsten types. They offer excellent stability when used with AC, whether it's balanced wave or continuously high - frequency stabilized. You can use them with DC too, and you can choose argon, helium, or a mix of both as shielding gas. The size is 3/16".
