This Blue Demon lanthanated tungsten electrode contains 1.3 - 1.5% dispersed lanthanum oxide. It offers excellent arc starting and stability, reduces tip erosion, and has a wider operating current range. It can replace 2% thoriated tungsten non - radioactively as they have similar operating characteristics. Suitable for both DC and AC applications.
