EWP pure tungsten electrodes are non-radioactive and unalloyed. They're great for less critical welding jobs, except for aluminum and magnesium. With a lower current - carrying capacity than other tungsten electrodes, they offer excellent stability when used with balanced wave or continuously high - frequency stabilized AC. You can also use them with DC and shielding gases like Ar, He, or a mix of both. Size: 1/16'.
Using these Blue Demon EWP pure tungsten electrodes is simple. First, select the appropriate shielding gas according to your welding job. You can use Ar, He, or a combination of the two. For AC welding, they work well with balanced wave or continuously high - frequency stabilized settings. When using DC, just make sure your equipment is set up correctly. Note that these electrodes are not suitable for welding aluminum and magnesium. To keep them in good condition, store them in a dry place away from moisture.
