This tungsten electrode has 1.3 - 1.5% dispersed lanthanum oxide. It offers easy arc starting, stable arcs, less tip erosion, and a wider operating current range. It's a non - radioactive alternative to 2% thoriated tungsten with similar performance. Suitable for both DC and AC applications. It's AWS Class EWLa - 1.5 with a gold color and sized at 1/8'.
