It creates a much larger capture area compared to other source-capture products, making it perfect for fabrication shops, manufacturing facilities, and training centers.
Capture 5 Arm with ZoneFlow™ Technology
It creates a negative pressure zone that draws air to the arm's center from up to 5 feet away. The arm can rotate 360 degrees, so you can position it easily with fewer hood adjustments.
Less Arm Movement
With a capture zone three times larger than traditional systems, you'll interact less with the arm. This means more arc-on time and higher productivity.

Easy-to-Operate Extraction Arm

MERV 15 Filter Rating
Filters are rated on the MERV scale. A MERV 15 rating means it's great at filtering small particles like those in weld fumes.
FilTek® XL Filter Technology
Designed for welding fumes, this technology offers a filter life up to two times longer than treated cellulose filters and can filter up to 95% of weld fume particulate.
Automatic Filter Cleaning
It extends the filter life. Every time you turn off the machine, the automatic pulse cleaning cycle cleans the filter from the inside out. Weld fume particulate is removed and deposited in the disposal drawer. You can use the manual push button and filter cleaning gauge for full control.
Particulate Disposal Bin
It's easy to empty the collected particulate. Just release the handles and slide out the drawer.

Using the Miller Filtair Capture 5 Fume Extractor is simple. First, connect the primary power connector to a 460V power source (the primary cord is sold separately). Position the 12 - foot extraction arm where you need it for welding. Thanks to its 360 - degree rotation, you can place it easily without much hassle. When you start welding, the fume extractor will use its ZoneFlow™ technology to draw in the fumes. The MERV 15 FilTek® XL filter will then trap the weld fume particulate. When you're done welding and turn off the machine, the automatic filter cleaning system will kick in. It will clean the filter from the inside out and deposit the particulate in the disposal bin. Just release the handles on the bin to slide it out and empty it. As for maintenance, check the filter cleaning gauge regularly. If needed, you can use the manual push button for extra cleaning. Also, make sure to keep the extraction arm moving smoothly by making toolless adjustments by hand when required. This will ensure the long - lasting operation of your fume extractor.
