Description
The Diamond Ground Monster 16™ TIG Nozzle Kit is specially designed for 17, 18, and 26 series TIG torches. It's made for use with a 3/32' diameter tungsten electrode (not included). This Series 3 TIG nozzle kit comes with two 1' size #16 nozzles. These nozzles greatly enhance shielding gas coverage and let you have more tungsten electrode stick out. The internal screen stacks inside the Monster TIG nozzles work with your standard gas lens to almost get rid of shielding gas turbulence and significantly increase the shielding gas coverage area. Better gas coverage means you can have longer tungsten stick out, giving you a clear view of the weld puddle. The kit includes two Monster 16 alumina nozzles with screen stacks, one 17GL332 gas lens, one 3/32 stubby collet, one nozzle insulator, one short back cap, and one medium back cap.

Using the Diamond Ground Monster 16 TIG Nozzle Kit is easy. First, make sure your TIG torch is from the 17, 18, or 26 series. Then, install the included 17GL332 gas lens, 3/32 stubby collet, nozzle insulator, and either the short or medium back cap according to your needs. Next, put in the two Monster 16 nozzles with the installed screen stacks. Remember, this kit is for use with a 3/32' diameter tungsten electrode, which you'll need to get separately. When welding, the longer tungsten electrode stick out gives you a better view of the weld puddle. Just be careful not to let the electrode get too close to the work piece. For maintenance, regularly check the nozzles and screen stacks for any signs of wear or damage. Clean them gently with a soft brush to keep the gas flow smooth. If you notice any issues with the shielding gas coverage or gas turbulence, double - check the installation of all parts.
