The Monster 12 TIG nozzle kit includes two Monster 12 alumina nozzles with screen stacks, one 17GL332 gas lens, one 3/32 stubby collet, one nozzle insulator, one short back cap, and one medium back cap. It enhances shielding gas coverage for critical TIG welds, virtually eliminates gas turbulence, allows for longer tungsten electrode stick out, uses industry - standard gas lens and collet, and is for use with 3/32" diameter tungsten electrode.
Using the Diamond Ground Monster 12 TIG Nozzle Kit is easy. First, make sure your TIG torch is one of the 17, 18, or 26 series. Install the 17GL332 gas lens and the 3/32 stubby collet as per the standard procedure. Then attach one of the Monster 12 nozzles with the installed screen stacks. You can use the short or medium back cap depending on your preference. When using a 3/32" diameter tungsten electrode, you'll notice improved shielding gas coverage and a better view of the weld puddle. Remember, the tungsten electrode is not included in the kit. For maintenance, clean the nozzles regularly to keep the internal screen stacks working well. Don't use abrasive materials that could damage the nozzles. Also, check the gas lens and collet for any signs of wear and replace them if needed.
