Product Description

Description

The Miller XMT 400 ArcReach Narrow 4-pack Rack with 460/575V Tweco is a top - notch solution for onsite jobs like construction and shipbuilding. It neatly holds multiple power sources. ArcReach tech lets you control the power source remotely without a cord, saving you both time and money.

With ArcReach, you can work far from the power source, cutting downtime and costs. You get full remote control right at the weld site. But remember, to use all features, pair the XMT 400 ArcReach with a Miller ArcReach feeder or remote.

This versatile machine supports MIG, pulsed - MIG, Stick, and DC TIG welding. It runs on both three - phase and single - phase input power. Thanks to Miller's Auto - Line™ tech, it works with 208 to 575 volts, single or three - phase, no manual adjustments needed. The Cable Length Compensation (CLC™) keeps performance steady by countering voltage drops over long cables.

ArcReach Technology

ArcReach boosts jobsite productivity. Welders can adjust voltage at the feeder or remote, no need to trace long cables back to the power source.

Cable Length Compensation

Cable Length Compensation (CLC™) ensures the set voltage is the actual voltage, adjusting based on cable length, even from far away.

Improved Jobsite Safety

ArcReach reduces slip, trip, and fall risks. Welders can change parameters at the feeder or remote instead of walking through messy jobsites to the power source.

Control Panel Lock Out

Connecting an ArcReach accessory locks out the power source's panel controls, preventing accidental parameter changes by others.

Auto - Process Select

Auto - Process Select reduces the chance of using the wrong weld process. It sets the power source correctly based on the polarity of the weld accessory.

Auto - Line Technology

Auto - Line tech allows you to work in more places. It automatically calibrates the power source for 208 - 575 volts, single or three - phase, 50 or 60 Hz, no manual linking required.

ArcReach Heater Compatibility

Use it for field preheat and bakeout up to 600°F (315°C). The ArcReach Heater, part of the ArcReach tech platform, is an accessory for select ArcReach welding power sources.

Adjust While Welding

Welders can make fast, easy parameter changes at the feeder or remote, even when the arc is on. Only Miller offers this great feature.

Using the Miller XMT 400 ArcReach Narrow 4 - pack Rack is quite straightforward. First, make sure you pair the XMT 400 ArcReach with a Miller ArcReach feeder or remote if you want to use all the features. Connect the power source to the appropriate input voltage (it can work with 208 - 575 volts, single or three - phase thanks to Auto - Line™ technology). Once connected, you're ready to start welding. You can use it for MIG, pulsed - MIG, Stick, and DC TIG welding. With ArcReach technology, you can control the power source from a distance. You can adjust the voltage at the wire feeder or remote, which is very convenient. Just remember, the Cable Length Compensation (CLC™) will adjust the output voltage automatically based on the cable length, so you don't have to worry about voltage drops. When it comes to safety, use the ArcReach feature to change parameters at the feeder or remote instead of walking around the jobsite. Also, when an ArcReach accessory is connected, the power source's panel controls will be locked to prevent accidental changes. For maintenance, keep the machine clean and dry. Check the cables regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If you want to use the ArcReach Heater, make sure it's compatible with your power source and follow the instructions for preheating and bakeout applications. And if you need to make adjustments while welding, you can do it easily at the wire feeder or remote, even when the arc is on.
