The Miller 951519 FILTAIR SWX Dual-Arm Add-On Package is a great solution to upgrade your single-arm SWX fume extractor to a dual-arm system. It comes with an FEB-1 blower motor, a 7-foot arm, an on/off control box, a mounting bracket, and back draft dampers. This package helps you handle welding fume challenges in workstations and training booths. With SWX dual-arm packages, you can customize your fume extraction system by combining different types of arms. The product includes an 8-inch diameter x 10-foot ZoneFlow fume extraction arm, backdraft dampers, a flexible duct (7 x 37 inches), a mounting bracket for the blower/arm, a ZoneFlow motor control box, a 115 V on/off control box, and a 115 V blower. Note that the 115 V wire is not included.
Using the Miller Filtair SWX Dual Arm Add - On Package is quite easy. First, use the mounting bracket to attach the blower and the arm to your desired location. Connect the flexible duct and make sure all the joints are secure. Then, plug in the 115 V blower and use the on/off control box to start or stop the system. When using, ensure proper ventilation in the area to get the best fume extraction results. As for maintenance, regularly check the backdraft dampers to ensure they are working properly. Inspect the flexible duct for any signs of wear or damage. If the ZoneFlow fume extraction arm isn't moving smoothly, lubricate the joints as needed.
