Using this welding gear ready - pak is easy. First, put on the VIKING 1840 welding helmet for eye protection. Then, wear the leather - sleeved jacket and gloves to protect your body and hands. The backpack is great for carrying all your tools around. When welding, make sure your amperage is within the 400 - amp limit according to your process. For stick, MIG, TIG, flux - core welding, and oxy - fuel or plasma cutting, select the right tools from the set. Always wear safety glasses and the faceshield for full face protection. When you're done, clean the tools. Use a cloth to wipe down the helmet, jacket, and backpack. For the metal tools like pliers and hammers, keep them dry to prevent rust. Store the gear in a cool, dry place. Don't expose it to extreme heat or moisture. Also, check the gloves and helmet regularly for any signs of wear and tear, and replace them if needed.
