The motor has an electronic safety shutdown to reduce kickback if the disc stops unexpectedly, providing high user protection. It also has electronic overload protection, soft start, and restart protection. The gear housing can be turned in 90° steps for left - handed operation or cutting. The auto - stop carbon brushes protect the motor.
