Using the Miller Fusion 185 Engine Drive Welder is quite straightforward. First, decide whether you'll use the engine power or 120/240 - volt utility power. If using utility power, use the MVP multi - voltage plug to easily connect to the right voltage. When welding, don't worry too much about small changes in arc length and travel speed as the machine's inverter technology will help you get a smooth weld. Remember, welding leads are not included, so you'll need to get those separately. For maintenance, keep the machine clean and check the engine (if using engine power) regularly according to the engine manufacturer's instructions. The welder/generator has a three - year warranty, but make sure to follow all the usage and maintenance guidelines to keep the warranty valid. You can use this welder in various industrial settings like construction, maintenance, and on farms. It's also great for stick welding and air plasma cutting (with optional Spectrum models).
