Description
The ESAB Savage A41 welding helmet is an upgrade from the well - known Savage A40. It features an updated digital user interface, a streamlined external grind button, and a wider shade range. Inspired by ESAB’s Sentinel A60 and Savage A50LUX, its user interface now has a clear and simple digital push - button design. A multi - color LED display gives you precise feedback on your selected shade, delay, and sensitivity settings. The helmet keeps all the great performance features of the Savage A40, like true color technology for a brighter view and better color definition, and excellent optical characteristics, all in a unique shell design.
- External shade adjustment from 8 to 13 with an optical class of 1/1/1/2. You can adjust delay and sensitivity from the inside.
- Four arc sensors for a quicker auto - darkening response.
- It has a wider coverage and a large 3.93 x 1.96 in. viewing area, offering a wide field of vision and more spatial awareness.
- The sensitivity control is great for low - amp TIG welding, reacting well to darker arc light.
- The delay control lets you set how long the lens stays dark after the arc stops. Short delay speeds up tack welding, and long delay is good for high - amperage welding.
- There's an externally activated grind button and a Shade 4 Grind Mode.
- The CR2450 battery is easy to replace.

Using the ESAB Savage A41 welding helmet is easy. First, put on the helmet like you would any regular welding helmet. You can adjust the shade externally from 8 to 13. If you need to change the delay or sensitivity settings, you can do that from the inside of the helmet. When you're doing low - amp TIG welding, use the sensitivity control to get a better reaction to the arc light. For the delay control, if you're doing tack welding, set a short delay to speed up the job. For high - amperage welding, a longer delay is better. When you need to grind, just press the externally activated grind button. The helmet comes with a Shade 4 Grind Mode. The battery is a CR2450 and it's easy to replace when it runs out. Make sure to keep the lenses clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe them. Also, store the helmet in a dry place when not in use to keep it in good condition. Refer to the owner's manual for more detailed instructions and safety guidelines.
