The latest TIG machines have stable arcs, and with advanced electronics and four arc sensors, the G5 - 02 filter switches reliably even at 1 amp, meeting the ISO 16321 'TIG+' standards.
Thanks to the thin ADF glass pack, the helmet is lightweight with a well - distributed center of gravity close to your head center.
3M's new venting design for the slim helmet reduces heat and humidity, keeping you cool and comfortable for longer.

Brilliant Light State
Before welding, enjoy great clarity with 3M's 2.5 light state. During welding, benefit from Speedglas Natural Color Technology for brighter and more realistic colors in both light and dark states.
The internal control panel is intuitive. Controls on each side of the lens include Bluetooth ON/OFF, Shade Lock, Delay, Shade 8 - 12 Adjustment, and Sensitivity. The most used controls, shade and sensitivity, are in the lower corners for easy access.

Using the 3M Speedglas G5 - 02 welding helmet is easy. First, adjust the headband to fit your head comfortably. Then, you can turn on the helmet and use the internal control panel on each side of the lens to set the desired settings like Bluetooth, shade, delay, and sensitivity. The most used controls, shade and sensitivity, are conveniently located in the lower corners. Before you start welding, you'll notice great clarity with the 2.5 light state. During welding, the Speedglas Natural Color Technology gives you a more realistic view. Remember to use this helmet for compatible processes such as TIG (over 1 amp), Stick, MIG, and Plasma. For maintenance, use the included cleaning wipe to clean the ADF regularly. When not in use, store the helmet in the provided storage bag.
