Using the ESAB Sureweld 6011 mild steel stick electrodes is straightforward. First, make sure your welding machine is set to either AC or DC+ current as this electrode supports both. When you start welding, you'll notice a strong and well - controlled arc that gives deep penetration. It can be used in all positions, which is really handy for different types of welding jobs. For mild steel materials like ASTM A - 36 and others, this electrode works great. You can use it for building structures, working on pipes, shipbuilding, and making pressure vessels and tanks. As for safety, always wear proper welding gear like gloves, a mask, and protective clothing. Store the electrodes in a dry place to keep them in good condition. If you notice any damage to the coating, it's best not to use that electrode as it may affect the quality of the weld. And remember, follow all local safety regulations when welding.
