Using the Flange Wizard Degree Level is simple. First, hold it against the surface where you need to measure an angle. If you're working alone, use the strong magnets on the base to attach it in place and hold the tape measure end. To measure, just read the angle on the dial which moves smoothly due to the spring tension. When using it on pipes or structural steel, make sure to press it firmly against the surface for an accurate reading. As for maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Since it's made of anodized aluminum, it has some protection, but avoid hitting it hard against hard objects as it might damage the dial or the body. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
