Using these Metabo carbide indexable inserts is easy. First, make sure they are properly installed in the compatible machines like KFM 15 - 10 F, KFM 16 - 15 F, KFMPB 15 - 10 F, or PFM 17. When you're preparing welded seams on flat materials or pipes, just use them as you would with normal inserts. For chamfering construction and fine - grain steels or stainless steel, apply a steady pressure. As for maintenance, after each use, clean the inserts gently with a soft brush to remove any debris. Store them in a dry place to prevent rust. Be careful when handling the inserts as the edges are sharp. Also, always follow the safety guidelines of the machine you're using.
