This powerful tube belt sander is perfect for processing larger stainless steel pipes. It features a 270° large wrap angle, ensuring seamless surfaces and fast work progress. The Metabo long-life motor with patented dust protection offers a long service life. The Vario-Tacho-Constamatic (VTC) - Full Wave Electronics with Thumbwheel allows you to work at customized speeds, and the speeds stay almost constant even under load. The rubberized drive roller reduces sanding belt slipping. You can change the sanding belt tool-free and adjust the belt guide easily. It also has overload protection to prevent motor overheating, an electronic soft start for smooth startup, restart protection to avoid unintentional startup after power interruption, and auto-stop carbon brushes to protect the motor.

Using this Metabo tube belt sander is easy. First, make sure you have the right sanding belt for your task. You can change the belt without tools and adjust the belt guide as needed. When you start the sander, thanks to the electronic soft - start, it will start smoothly. Use the Vario - Tacho - Constamatic to set the speed according to the material you're working on. Hold the sander firmly with the side handle provided. When working on stainless steel pipes, the large wrap angle will help you get a seamless finish quickly. Remember, the sander has overload protection, so if it gets too hot, it will shut off to protect the motor. Also, after a power interruption, it won't start up by itself. For maintenance, keep the motor clean as it has dust protection. Replace the carbon brushes when they reach the auto - stop point to keep the motor in good condition. Store the sander in the metal carrying case when not in use to protect it from damage.
