Using this Metabo charger is easy. First, make sure the charger is connected to a 110 - 120V power supply with a 50 - 60Hz frequency. Then, place your 14.4 - 36V Li - Ion or LiHD slide - on battery packs in the charging bays. You can charge up to eight batteries at the same time. The charger will manage the charging process for each battery automatically. For charging time, expect around 30 minutes for a 1.5Ah battery and 80 minutes for a 4.0Ah battery. When you're done, just use the side on/off switch to turn off the charger. To keep it in good shape, do an annual BGVa3 test on the lead cable.
