Using the Metabo PE 15 - 20 RT Angle Polisher is easy. First, make sure you've attached the side handle for better control. Before starting, set your desired speed using the thumbwheel. Then, pull the speed control trigger to start the polisher. If you want to keep it running at a set speed, use the lock function. When using it on painted surfaces, move the polisher smoothly to get a fine - ground and high - gloss finish. Always be aware of the overload protection. If the motor gets too hot, it will shut down to protect itself. In case of a power interruption, don't worry as the restart protection prevents accidental start - up. After each use, let the motor cool down. Check the carbon brushes regularly as they have an auto - stop feature to protect the motor. When storing, keep it in a dry place and make sure it's turned off. Remember, this product is delivered without a backing pad and polishing pad, so you'll need to get those separately if you need them.
