Product Description

The Dewalt DWE402 4.5-inch (115mm) Small Angle Grinder is a powerhouse with three amazing systems. The Dust Ejection System keeps damaging dust out, the One-Touch Guard™ rotates 360 degrees, and the Quick-Change™ Wheel Release makes wheel removal a breeze. It has a next-generation 11 Amp AC/DC 11,000 rpm motor for an excellent power-to-size ratio. The oversized brushes last twice as long as the previous model. The large spiral bevel gear ensures long transmission life. The One-Touch™ Guard allows single-action 360-degree rotation. The Quick-Change™ Wheel Release lets you remove the wheel without a wrench. The top-mounted and protected spindle lock button maximizes cut depth. Its uniquely small gripping surface offers great comfort. The newly designed side handle has excellent ergonomics and durable oversized threading. Auto-off brushes prevent tool damage by shutting down when replacement is needed. The paddle switch with safety lock-off stops accidental starts. Matching wheel flanges let you use common accessories. Included are a grinder with a 6 ft power cord, a 2-position side handle, and a 4.5-inch One-Touch (T27) Guard.

Using the Dewalt DWE402 small angle grinder is easy. First, plug it into a power source using the 6 ft power cord. Attach the 2-position side handle for better control. Adjust the One-Touch Guard™ to the desired position for protection. When it's time to change the wheel, use the Quick-Change™ Wheel Release to remove the old wheel without a wrench. Then, install the new wheel and secure it. Always make sure the paddle switch is in the off position before plugging in the grinder to avoid accidental start-up. When the auto-off brushes shut down the tool, it means they need to be replaced. Replace them promptly to avoid damage. Keep the grinder clean by using the Dust Ejection System to get rid of dust and debris. Check the large spiral bevel gear and other parts regularly for any signs of wear. Store the grinder in a dry place when not in use.
