Using this Metabo angle grinder is easy. First, choose the right disc for your material and adjust the speed using the Vario - Tacho - Constamatic thumbwheel. The adjustable guard can be set up without tools to protect you during operation. When starting the grinder, remember it has a soft - start feature, so just press the power button gently.
Some important things to note. Make sure to wear appropriate safety gear like goggles and gloves. If the disc jams, the S - automatic torque limiting clutch will minimize kick - back, but still be careful. Don't overload the grinder as it has electronic overload protection, but continuous overloading may damage the motor.
For maintenance, keep the grinder clean from dust. The auto - stop carbon brushes will protect the motor, but check them regularly. You can also rotate the heavy - duty gear housing in 90° steps for different uses, just make sure it's firmly in place. When not in use, store it in a dry place.
