Product Description

Description

Speedglas 9100V Cartridge Features
  • Viewing Size: 1.8 inches x 3.7 inches, Total area: 6.05 square inches.
  • Choose from seven dark shade settings. Shade 5 is for gas welding/cutting, shade 8 for micro - plasma and low amp TIG welding, and variable dark shades from 9 to 13. You can lock in your shade, including the light state (shade 3) for grinding. A patented comfort mode for tack welding reduces eye fatigue from constant light - level adjustments.
  • The tack welding comfort mode uses an intermediate light state. If no follow - up arc is struck within two seconds, the filter switches to the normal light state. This mode helps ease eye strain during tack welding.
  • Installing magnifying lenses is a breeze. The new magnifying lens holder inside the welding helmet makes installation easy and adjustable.
  • It meets ANSI Z8.1 - 00 and CSA Z9 standards for eye and face protection.

Using the 3M Speedglas 9100V Auto - Darkening Lens Assembly is simple. First, select the appropriate shade setting based on your welding task. For gas welding or cutting, use shade 5. For micro - plasma and low amp TIG welding, go for shade 8. You can also choose variable dark shades from 9 to 13. If you're grinding, lock in the light state (shade 3). When tack welding, the comfort mode will help reduce eye fatigue. Just remember, if no follow - up arc is struck within two seconds, the filter will switch to the normal light state. When installing magnifying lenses, use the holder inside the helmet for easy and adjustable setup. As for maintenance, keep the lens clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the lens. Always check the lens for any signs of damage before each use, and make sure it still meets the ANSI Z8.1 - 00 and CSA Z9 standards for your safety.
